While living in central Florida, we had many options for a fun day out. Since exploring and traveling is one of our favorite things to do together, we had a pretty well rounded list of our favorite spots. And I must say that St. Pete was definitely toward the top of that list. It's the home of our favorite FL coffee shop, ramen restaurant, and many friends of ours.

Laimis + Michelle's day was filled with a variety of options for shooting locations, many suggested by the bride, which we were so impressed by! They  began their day by having a beautiful, intimate ceremony in a private garden, surrounded by a few close family members. We were able to take them to a separate location afterwards in downtown St. Pete, called Station House. It's a large, historic building with tons of window light, mid-century decor, and romantic, retro vibes. This further illustrated Michelle's creative personality, and gave us SO many options to work with. We did not want to put our cameras down when it was finally time to leave -  which we consider a pretty good problem to have.

Michelle has a knack for creating. She customized her dress to her style by adding beading onto the sleeves and shoulders. Her bouquet was also completely handmade, along with the groom's boutonniere. I literally couldn't believe these florals weren't from a professional designer/florist. I mean, those colors! (insert heart eyes emoji)

We absolutely love when couples proudly design details of their day around their own unique style. We find that it provides an extra glimpse into the couple's connection. And when you're surrounded by things that match your unique love, the joy naturally shines through. We think these two accomplished that beautifully.
